School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Wilmington, DE

Blazerworks is actively seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 2024-2025 school year in Wilmington, DE. We have partnered with the local school district to provide essential behavioral support services to students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RBT who is passionate about supporting students in an educational setting.

Position Details:

  • Location: Wilmington, DE

  • Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with students to provide behavioral support in a structured learning environment.
  • Implement and follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Support students in achieving their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals through targeted interventions.
  • Monitor and collect data on student behavior and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Provide feedback and updates to the behavior analysis team to adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current and active RBT certification.
  • Prior experience working with children in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and adaptable when working with students who have behavioral challenges.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by the school district.
