School Nurse - Full Time Position

Location: Monroe, NC

Blazerworks, in collaboration with the esteemed school district in Monroe, NC, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. As a School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy and safe environment for students, staff, and the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and assistance to students and staff members as needed.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate health records.
  • Assess and address health needs within the school community.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
