Full-Time School SLP Role in Wilmington, DE (2024-2025 School Year)

Blazerworks is excited to partner with the school district in Wilmington, DE, to offer a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an SLP passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and overcome challenges to succeed in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ communication disorders
  • Provide therapy services to students with speech/language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress
  • Document student progress and modify therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active License as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Delaware
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
  • Must be passionate about helping students reach their communication goals and thrive academically
