Blazerworks is proud to partner with a school district in Lynn, MA, to hire a dedicated and compassionate School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to support students in developing their communication skills while working alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Job Details:

• Position: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Location: Lynn, MA
• Employment Type: Full-time, contract position
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs under the supervision of an SLP
  • Work with students in individual and group settings to support speech-language development
  • Maintain records and document student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to provide the best support for students
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Valid SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students succeed
