Full-Time School Social Worker Elizabeth, CO

BlazerJobs is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, school-based position in Elizabeth, CO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide social work services to students and support their academic, emotional, and social well-being through the end of the 2024/2025 school year. The position offers 20-40 hours per week depending on availability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support plans for students.
• Conduct assessments of student needs and develop appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Work with students and families to connect them to community resources and social services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Lead group therapy sessions, support crisis management, and assist with student conflict resolution.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.

• Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (20-40 hours per week)
• End Date: May 2025
• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Social Worker in a school setting is required
• Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Valid Colorado Social Worker License (LCSW or equivalent)
• Experience in providing counseling and behavioral support in schools or similar settings
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and community resources
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
