Full Time School Social Worker Job Opportunity

Blazer Jobs has partnered with a great school to find on-site School Social Worker (SSW). We are seeking a compassionate and caring applicant who meets the requirements listed below to join our team.  

Position Details:

• Full-Time
• Conducting evaluations and assessments, specific details will be discussed during the interview process

General Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address the psychological and educational needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive and effective learning environments.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and services.
• Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students within the school and the wider community.
• Provide crisis intervention and support in response to critical incidents affecting the school community.
