Full-Time School Social Worker

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker for a full-time role with school districts in the Red Lion, PA area. This position requires individuals who are passionate about providing comprehensive support to students, families, and school communities. As a School Social Worker, you will be an integral part of the educational team, helping to address various social, emotional, and academic needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assess and identify the social, emotional, and developmental needs of students.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to address social and academic challenges.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Connect students and families with community resources and services.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
• Advocate for students and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania School Social Worker certification or be eligible to obtain one.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of child development, behavioral health, and social services.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
