Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Leonardtown, Maryland. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about helping students enhance their communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students.
• Conduct speech and language screenings under supervision.
• Provide direct support to students with speech and communication disorders.
• Document student progress and report to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Requirements (Maryland):

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Must hold a valid Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists SLPA License.
• At least one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting.
