Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Waltham High School in Waltham, Massachusetts. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively within an educational setting, providing essential speech and language services to high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among high school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to address identified speech and language challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
  • Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in the field.
  • Experience working with adolescents or within a high school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
