Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Albuquerque, NM
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Albuquerque, NM area.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certification: Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Credential: New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Licensure for School-Based SLPs
- Experience: Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting required
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Compliance with all district and state regulations

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, evaluations, and treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success
