Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time role with school districts in the Mountain Home, ID area.   • Education: Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current Idaho state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Certification: Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting.
  • Clearance: Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances required by the state and school district.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.


  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments to evaluate students' communication needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' educational goals.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' goals and progress reports.
  • Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' speech and language needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
