Blazerworks is partnering with a school district in Belmont, MA, to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
