Full-Time Special Education Teacher Contract Role with Benefits

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Phoenix, AZ area. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support the academic and social-emotional needs of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct instruction in various subject areas to students with diverse learning challenges.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to create inclusive classroom environments.
• Monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies to meet learning goals.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education laws and policies.

State Requirements (Arizona):

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following Arizona state requirements:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Completion of a fingerprint clearance card as per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Arizona special education laws and best practices in IEP development.
