Special Education Teacher
Location: Burnsville, Minnesota
Start Date: January 8th, 2024
End Date: June 7th, 2024
Hours: Full-time, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hours per day)
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Burnsville, Minnesota. This position is for a high school caseload, involving 8 students in a self-contained classroom. The Special Education Teacher will also be an integral part of a DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) team, occasionally serving other students as needed.
Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid MN teaching credential
• Possession of any of the 6 special education endorsements

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 8 high school students in a self-contained classroom
• Collaborate with the DCD team to address the diverse needs of students
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $35-$40/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
