In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional education and support to students with special needs.

Job Description:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Providing specialized instruction and support to meet each student's unique learning goals.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth and well-being.
• Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Oklahoma teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
