Full-Time Special Education Teacher Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with school districts in the Homer Glen, IL area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
• Assess students' skills and learning requirements, and monitor their progress
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on students' progress

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid and current Special Education Teacher certification in the state of Illinois
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities preferred
