Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with a school district in the Avon, IN area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Certification: Must hold an active Indiana Special Education Teaching License
• Experience: Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is required
• Must meet all Indiana state and local requirements to work in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Modify and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
