As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in meeting the diverse needs of students with exceptionalities. Your dedication to creating an inclusive classroom and your expertise in special education practices will contribute significantly to our students' success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction to address a range of learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional assistance
• Cultivate a positive and welcoming classroom culture that celebrates diversity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities
