Full-Time Special Education Teacher

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join a team in Goffstown, NH. This full-time role involves supporting high-functioning students with Autism in a resource room setting and ensuring their academic and developmental needs are met.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to high-functioning students with Autism in a resource room setting.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student progress.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student performance to adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in a week of shadowing the current substitute teacher to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active teaching certification in Special Education for the state of New Hampshire.
• Experience working with students with Autism is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
