Full-Time Special Education Teacher

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a team in Nixa, MO. This full-time position at the elementary school level involves managing a caseload of 13 students and supporting their academic and developmental success through effective planning and implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for 13 students.
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress toward established goals.
• Write measurable and actionable goals tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Missouri.
• Experience in elementary education and working with IEPs is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
