Full Time Special Education Teaching Contract

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with a school district in the Cambridge, MD area. We are seeking compassionate educators dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in a small group or one-on-one settings to support students' academic and social development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students are receiving appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and learning.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations, including proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland teaching license with certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, ranging from mild to severe.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
