As a Specialized Learning Teacher (IS), you will have a pivotal role in providing targeted instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve their academic goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure the integration of special education services
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and well-being
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- State teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and inclusion practices
- Dedication to promoting inclusive education and advocating for students with special needs
