Position Overview: Blazerworks is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction to students, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (Missouri certification preferred).
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
