Blazerworks, in collaboration with the Goffstown School District, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities in various academic subjects.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid SPED teaching certification in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
