Blazerworks, in collaboration with the Coos Bay School District, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and assess individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instructional support and accommodations to facilitate student learning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participate in relevant meetings and professional development activities.
• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of all students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
