We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Issaquah, WA. As a SPED Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs.


  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students' academic and social-emotional success
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services provided


  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Valid Washington state teaching certificate with SPED endorsement
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
