Special Education Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Chester, PA

Position: 2024-2025 School Year

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in Chester, PA. This is a full-time position with hours that vary based on the school schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the best learning environment for students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to meet students' diverse needs.
  • Assess students' progress and provide regular updates to parents and administrators.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
