Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking qualified candidates for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position in Summerville, SC. We are conducting open interviews for this role, which provides an excellent opportunity to support students and families in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication needs.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents regarding communication strategies and support.

Requirements:

• Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
