Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Vallejo, CA area to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is located in a special education setting and offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in a special education setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • State licensure and certifications as required by California (please ensure you meet all necessary requirements).
  • At least one year of experience in a school or related special education setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
