Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Position Overview: 

• Location: Westover, MD
• Job Type: Full-time contract

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations on speech and language objectives.
• Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.

Requirements:

• Maryland Department of Education license as an SLP.
• Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and other educational frameworks.
