Job Description: Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Eagle, CO. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the field of special education and a strong commitment to helping students with diverse learning needs succeed. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. You will provide direct instruction, accommodations, and support to ensure all students receive a high-quality education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and support to students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participation.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Colorado teaching license in Special Education.
  • Certification in Special Education from the Colorado Department of Education.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in the field of special education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to providing inclusive education and support for all students.
