Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education and then Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
Often work with student evaluations: IEPs (Individualized Education Program/Plan)
Must hold and Active Special Education State Teaching License
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet individual learning goals and needs.
Assessing student progress, adapting curriculum materials, and implementing behavior management techniques to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
