Responsibilities
As a general education teacher in our district, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum guidelines.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. 
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote engagement in the learning process. 
• Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and observations.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support learning and growth. 
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports. 
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, acceptance, and self-advocacy. 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. 
• Must hold a valid Massachusetts teaching certification 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
