Full-Time Physics Teacher – Chester, PA

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the local school district, is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Chester, PA, for the current school year.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 13, 2025
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Caseload: High school
• Location: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for physics courses.
• Create engaging lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, driving instruction through formative assessment and differentiation.
• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring strong behavioral and academic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to meet the needs of urban students.

Qualifications:

• Active teaching certification required.
• Ability to complete all Pennsylvania state clearances.
• A bachelor’s degree is required to qualify for an emergency teaching permit.
• Previous experience in a school setting is required.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
• Experience working in an urban environment is highly preferred.
