Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to students' abilities and learning styles.
• Provide support, instruction, and accommodations to ensure academic success for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address students' educational, behavioral, and social needs.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports for students' academic and behavioral development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Special Education teaching license/certification in the state of Missouri.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for advocating for students with disabilities and promoting their success.
