Position Overview:

Charles City High School is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated General Education Science Teacher with a Chemistry endorsement to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an educator who is passionate about fostering a love for science and empowering high school students to excel in their scientific journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to high school students.
• Teach a range of science courses, with a focus on Chemistry.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Use innovative teaching methods and resources to make science come alive for students.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Virginia teaching license with a Chemistry endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry and other science disciplines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
