About RISE: The Reaching Independence through a Structured Environment (RISE) offers a highly structured classroom designed for students who require a program that is language intensive and uses principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior to teach language, pre-academic and learning readiness skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Design tailored instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success and progress.
• Employ various teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles within the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Prior experience working with high school students with special needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
