SLPs in Florida must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Florida SLP license, and ASHA certification. School-based experience is preferred but not required.

Job Overview:

Blazer Jobs is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to high school students in Port Orange, FL. This role is perfect for an SLP who enjoys working with adolescents and preparing them for communication success beyond high school.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for high school students.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services based on students' IEPs.
  • Collaborate with special education teams and classroom teachers.
  • Support students with communication goals related to career readiness and social skills.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines.
