Highschool Physics Teacher Needed ASAP | Chester, PA

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our team in creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for our students. As a Physics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing engaging lessons, fostering a deep understanding of physics concepts, and preparing students for future STEM endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive physics curriculum aligned with state and national standards
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive physics lessons, incorporating hands-on activities and real-world applications
• Assess student understanding through various methods, including quizzes, tests, and projects
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, providing individualized support and enrichment opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, discuss teaching strategies, and promote a positive and supportive learning environment
• Stay up-to-date on current advancements in physics and incorporate relevant topics into lessons
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Physics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching AP Physics or other advanced physics courses
• Familiarity with physics laboratory equipment and safety procedures
• Ability to incorporate technology into lessons and assessments
• Bilingual or multilingual skills

• Need to have STRONG classroom and behavioral management skills
