Are you looking for a new opportunity? A school district near Providence, RI is looking for a School Psychologist for the current 2024 - 2025 school year. 

Details:

• Full Time 
• Contract
• 2024 - 2025 School Year
• Caseload: PreK - 12, mulitple openings with different locations and caseloads
• Caseloads will be discussed further on interview to determine best fit for candidate. 
• Position requires the candidate to conduct file review, assess, write resports, and participate in IEP meetings. 
• Additional caseload details will be discussed on the virtual interview.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and strategies for students with diverse needs.
• Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement strategies to support students’ learning and development.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide emergency support as needed.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics related to mental health and student well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and research in school psychology and contribute to the development of school policies and programs.

Qualifications:

• Active School Psychologist Certificate or ARD Facilitator
• Master’s Degree in School Psychology or Education
