We are currently seeking to fill a permanent Special Education Teacher position for one of our district partners.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Licensure: Valid State teaching license with Special Education certification.
• Experience: Experience working with students with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral disorders, and other disabilities.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessments: Assessing and tracking students' skills and learning requirements 
• Lesson Plans: Adapting lesson plans to meet each student’s individualized needs 
• Communication: Periodically communicates with parents regarding their child’s educational progress
• Classroom Discipline: Maintains discipline in the classroom
• Student Support: Assisting disabled students with their personal and self-help needs 
• IEPs: Developing, modifying, and updating IEPs

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: Starting $47/hr, Commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Payment Structure: Weekly pay
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, and access to our advisory services
• Work Schedule: Full Time
• Contract Start: ASAP
