Location: Durham, NC
School Year: 2024/2025

Responsibilities:

  • The special education teacher is responsible for delivering instruction and collect data on progress on the students' goals and objectives
  • Support general education staff in the development and implementation of strategies to increase student participation, engagement, and skill development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
  • Educator Credential: Exceptional Children (K-12) with Special Education Endorsement(s) AND Adaptive Endorsement
  • 2-3 reference checks prior to start

Schedule:

  • Start/End Dates: ASAP - June 13, 2025
  • Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
  • Caseload Details: Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Adaptive Teacher; 5 High Needs students, will have assistance from 1-2 paras
    • More details shared during interview
