Hiring Paraprofessional for the 2024 -25 School Year | Essex, MA

We are interviewing paraprofessionals for the upcoming school year in Essex, MA! This is an urgent need for our district. The specifics are given below.

Location: Essex, MA
Job Details:

• Dates: ASAP - May 2025
• Full Time: 35 hours/week
• Caseload:
  • 1:1 with a special education student
  • Job Duties:
    • Support the teacher and student in carrying out the instructional program.
    • Assist the teacher in evaluating student performance.
    • Maintain records and track student performance as directed by the teacher.
    • Monitor student behavior and support positive classroom engagement.
    • Assist the teacher in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), when applicable.
• Onsite only
• Hourly pay: $22-25+ (depending on level of experience)

Experience and Skills Desired:

• Must have previous experience with Special Education children
• Experience with visually impaired population preferred
• Associate's Degree or higher
• Must have reliable transportation
