Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing instructional activities under the teacher’s guidance.
- Provide one-on-one support to students needing additional help.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment.
- Support students with special needs, ensuring accommodations are provided as outlined in their IEPs.
- Collaborate with school staff to deliver cohesive student support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of at least 48 college credit hours, an associate degree, or passing the ParaPro Assessment.
- Previous experience working with children, especially in educational settings, is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
