For the upcoming school year, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students overcome language barriers and ensure effective communication in the classroom. Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina

Details/Specifications:

• Full Time | Monday - Friday
• Full 2024 - 2025 School Year
• Multiple Openings (2)
• Caseload:
  • High School and Elementary
  • 1-2 students per caseload
• As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will support students by providing interpreting services in educational settings, facilitating communication between students, teachers, and peers, and ensuring accessibility to the curriculum and school activities.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other necessary communication methods
• Experience working in educational settings preferred
• Relevant certification or qualifications in interpreting
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting student success
