Responsibilities
- Design individualized learning experiences to address unique student strengths and challenges.
- Provide instruction in academic, social, and physical development skills.
- Collaborate with therapists and school psychologists to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and update IEPs to reflect growth and new goals.
- Assist students in transitioning smoothly between grades and life stages.
Details & Requirements
- Primarily elementary needs, split between K-2 and 3-5 bands.
- Mostly self-contained Developmentally Delayed (DD) or Intellectually Delayed (ID) caseloads.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required.
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong experience in creating and implementing IEPs preferred.
