Individualized Learning Specialist - Brighton, CO - SPED

Responsibilities

• Evaluate academic and behavioral needs to craft tailored learning strategies.
• Develop and execute IEPs aligned with students' goals and abilities.
• Provide adaptive instruction in academic and social development skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Establish a classroom environment that minimizes the impact of disabilities and fosters growth.

Details & Requirements

• Primarily elementary needs, split between K-2 and 3-5 bands.
• Mostly self-contained Developmentally Delayed (DD) or Intellectually Delayed (ID) caseloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required.
• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain) is mandatory.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teams.
