- Elementary, Middle and High School Caseload Options Available for Candidate Preference
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism spectrum disorder.
- Provide specialized instruction in core academic areas, including reading, writing, and math.
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to create a support plan for each student.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in autism education
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in autism education
