Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet students’ unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth.
- Use specialized instructional techniques to foster academic, behavioral, and social development.
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Communicate regularly with families and guardians, providing updates and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving and student support.
