Intervention Specialist - Contract Position in Special Education

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Springfield, OH area. We are looking for compassionate educators dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs in achieving academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.
• Plan and deliver specialized instruction in a resource or inclusive classroom setting.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to promote growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Stay current on best practices and legal requirements in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Dedication to fostering student growth and independence.
